It is handmade by Midori in Chiangmai, a northern city of Thailand. The fine leather cover is vegetable tanned and is luxurious and soft to the touch. It becomes even softer and more supple with use. The Traveler's Notebook has wonderful filling options made available by Midori. Midori offers numerous high quality paper types to refill the journal with; pockets, holders, binders, tapes, stickers etc. It can carry small memorabilia from a trip, tickets, passports, notes, photos and other notable items. Upon unwrapping the notebook, you will find a white powder-like substance on the brand new leather. This is a result of its manufacturing process.
